Author 'Boucher Marc dit de Meilh' (Id 158225 ) : Male ibex of the Alps (Capra ibex). This animal is a ruminant mammal of the order Artiodactyla, family Bovidae and subfamily goats. You can read the age of the nodules ibex horns. The animal may weigh from 70 to 100 kg. It feeds at dawn until the evening of 20 kg of grass per day. Here it is at rest, he ruminates, whereas usually the ibex, very agile, is found in rock bars around 2000 meters and that until 3500 meters. If one listens the mountain, sometimes you can hear the clashing of their horns, when the males are training to prepare to win their females ... Marc Boucher said Meilhan.

I like the head he does it and I prefer it to the other! The background color of apple green to forget the dark of the animal, cutting it right! Congratulations Marc and thank you for sharing!

Yes Natureln and you know I really lit the shot because the animal was really in the dark as the thickness of the tree in front, the low sky and rainy. Basically, there behind the tree was basically bright, too, because the white balance playing tricks on me and so I had to manually fix the problem. Shooting in low light slow 1 / 20 seconds at ISO 400, in short, you see not always obvious. Good evening and thank you, Marc.
