The building that is left of the picture may be embarrassing but it was used in processions, it consists of a long corridor through which it accesses a mastaba where a statue of King Joser This statue is visible through a hole and then after you reach the pyramid.

Very beautiful photo, the only drawback is the presence of this building on the left. The pyramid is the result of a complex evolution: this was initially a square mastaba enlarged twice before becoming a monument consisting of four tiers and reach its final form in September bleachers.
