'Pond' that is saying a lot because I do not see water. By contrast, the geometry is original with all these fields which converge towards the centre.

Ninik hello, this is a former lake that was drained in the 12th century because it brought diseases the rays that you see are ditches that drain the water to a central collection area (a circle that you see in the middle) then this water is discharged through a ditch and a tunnel that goes under the tunnel of Malpas and under the canal du midi empties into the pond of Capestang.

Hello Dede, the pond of Montady is a pond that has been drained in the 12th century and the shelves are ditches that bring the water in the collector, central (the round one in the centre) then the water is removed paur a tunnel which joined the pond of Capestang.

This view is very graphic and it makes me think of a sundial very colorful and nicely put value for a beautiful light to lead the eye into the pond of Montady that we guess more than we see. A splendid wallpaper : bravo Guy and thank you.

Hello and thank you The Fan for this comment, the Montady lake was drained in the 12th century, the rays that you see are ditches that bring the water to a central collection area (the circle in the middle) the water is then drained off by a tunnel that passes under the canal du midi in Malpas to join the pond of Capestang (34).

The green has a lot of sparkle. I like the graphics drawn on the ground made of rays converging to a central disk, . What issue are you talking about ?

Hello Jofu, thank you for your comment, the pond of Montady is a pond which was drained in the 12th century and all the rays that you see are ditches, which joins to a collector (the central circle) and the water is discharged along a tunnel which passes under the canal du midi in Malpas to throw into the pond of Capestang (34)
