Author 'Brunodu75' (Id 188929 ) : The monument 'the vottoriano' in rome. It was built by Garibaldi celebrating the unification of Italy around 1870. It is a monument really very impressive and has been built in the spirit of the great era of the roman empire.

Several errors have crept into your comment :

- This monument is also called 'Vittoriano' in honour of Victor-Emmanuel II
- The architect called Giuseppe Sacconi
- Its construction began in 1885
- And its opening date of 1911

The romans, who appreciate that little, nicknamed 'the typewriter' and it is said that since his roof was surely the most beautiful views of Rome because... We can't see !!!
