Author 'Gipsy34' A voir (Id 119196 ) : I think this is an orchid ... Connoisseurs will confirm me, I saw this plant on the banks of the Canal du Midi and along a road. A quick stop cycling and I shot.

Hello Josy. A superb shot well net that you offer us here. Bravo and thank you.
For me, in the Perigord region grows all kinds of orchis, including the orchis drone. Unfortunately these beautiful wild plants are scarce and small, victims of mowing nuisance and it is a great pity.

Nice meeting "Gipsy34" that you did well to fix because contrary to what Jeanjacques8420 I am far to say that the pyramidal orchids grow everywhere. If my information is correct several conditions must be met: the presence of a calcareous grassland, presence of a mycelium in the soil, presence of a seed, favorable weather conditions are necessary for the implementation of the orchid. It is also important that a lawnmower, a déboussailleuse, a weedkiller ... are not in action during the development of the new arrival! So when you see this chance meeting is this we must know the type.

A beautiful flower: 6: which reminds me a little flower of dwarf lilacs, in form and color, but I hear that it is a species of orchid, the orchids here in Quebec are quite rare though it possesses some species. This photo is very well done I love it! : 6: Gipsy Thanks for this beautiful image! 6:

Ah, finally someone who loves wildflowers, confirming it is the pyramidal orchid and particularly well supplied. Not easy to leave a nice shot because those flowers often grow in Savar or wasteland. Very nice contrast, but it was time for the flowers fade the bottom. To answer some coms, it grows everywhere, you just pay attention.

The orchid, pyramidal orchid (Anacamptis pyramidalis), is found in dry meadows and sunny well on limestone soil in almost all of France. Its a bright pink bloom extends from May to August Nice pic: 6:

I also think of an orchid. You're very lucky to live in a beautiful area. 6: A little focus but I like the colors and grasses that surround it.

Your flower is very beautiful and well framed in the grass. 6: I went to see on the Internet (Orchydées Wikipedia) but I do not see this variety except Rhynchostylis gigantea, is found in Southeast Asia. Your flower is very beautiful and well framed in the grass.
