I went to the side of this photo.
It makes the scale of the flames of the fires of summer and the difficulty for firefighters to get to the end.

This photo shows a lamentable act ever ... A good news picture, I think I framed leftmost fire.

We would never comment on such photos, but because the reality is there, congratulations for this beautiful shot.

Thank you all for your visit and your comments, that day there was a lot of wind that fanned the fire, but firefighters have come to end very quickly and happily serving the many vineyards of fire.

: 4: Hello, your photo is really beautiful, wind-driven flames are superb. Against damage to nature, fauna and flora, and a quick glance of sympathy for firefighters. : 18:: 19:

What a wonderful view and how sad that these plants reduced to ashes and those little animals in these deadly fires burned too often the work of arsonists who, when stopped, alas, are not sufficiently punished: 9:!

A beautiful photo-reportage, of course, firefighters are present, but what a shame for nature! Josy thank you. 1:

What a great misfortune for nature! Is this a natural fire or is it an arsonist who has caused it??? Firefighters are there, but sometimes it becomes a tragedy. Thanks for this beautiful photo story Josy! : 4:: 6:

Gena thank you for your passage, it is not known if the fires are natural, but I doubt it, in principle, it is arson.

Another idiot who could not resist cracking a flaming match to see the nature ... Tribute to firefighters in their continuing struggle: 3:

You could feel the heat of the flames from where you were standing, Josy? The noise - snoring, rattling - should be impressive in any case ... I have never seen such a disaster by fire so close. Thank you for sharing with us.

Goodnight Lumixane, not to where I was I could not feel heat or flames, or noise, I could bring up with my Canon, but it's also scary that night we saw TV fires in Montpellier and Nimes, which were much larger (pine). Here just the scrubland and vineyards are many firewalls.

The flames are impressive and we see they have already done damage. There are more air to have wind, it does not facilitate the task ... Still unaware of who threw something glow, a fire does not declare one. Gipsy thank you for this photo story. 4:

A nice photo report of fire that starts, I hope that firefighters were able to overcome quickly and the damage was not too important. Thank you for the present.

Hello Jasmin, the damage just the hill, luckily the vines serve as firebreaks and fortunately there are everywhere.

> Louise [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Sep 08, 2010
At this scale, we unfortunately can imagine the extent of damage. : 10: The scrubland around seems very open. : 10:
