: 4: Ah yes, that's right: it is the same as I just posted! Meanwhile, I researched on the net but I could see were yellow salsify ... I've always taken for dandelion flowers! I do not go out to learn and better! : 15: It's been beautiful this purple amidst the greenery! : 5:: 14: Funny, I had never noticed these flowers and now I see a lot!

+: This salsify flower is very pretty and you're right because we are present only in Provence.

This plant, salsify Provence (Tragopogon porrifolius) is found mostly in grasslands and scrublands departments around the Mediterranean. It is a biennial plant with a taproot. The inflorescences are ISOlated grouping of heads of purple flowers. The roots, a slightly sweet taste, are eaten cooked: Fried stew, salad, sauce bechamel. The young leaves can be eaten RAW in salads. Beautiful floral shot: 1:: 6:.
