20110920 Cemetery Graveyard

Author 'Cdrujont' A voir : I know this is not necessarily a topic that will be unanimous, but it exists and if it is part of our culture, at least in our lives. It is a small cemetery dominated by a crucifix of the 16th century, and I found that the shooting was a part Hitchcockian.

A magnificent photo ! It is true that in our time this kind of image is located rather in the films... horror ! Especially as the idea of death is almost taboo today in our country. Thank you for this proposal.

A style that I love! The stone is beautifully enhance the transition b & w and the Framework provides even more momentum to the whole. And I love the stairs and push open the doors of the cemeteries in small villages. Excellent: 2:

Good composition in black and white, the steps are a little too much with the rest of the photo.

+: I love the framing and choice of black and white that creates an atmosphere mystical tendency.

-:I regret the frames around the photos, they do not enhance the photos, they remove all the spontaneity to be proposed by the photographer. The framework is artificial compared to the photo.

Hi Gege. Hook, and thank you for the comments. Regarding the framing is a vision that I disagree, but to each his own point of view. In every photo exhibitions of any kind, the pictures are always presented in a frame and mostly surrounded by a "marquee" white. I see at least one interest, see an advantage is to exclude the image of his environment and does not correspond in any way to that which it is derived. Here the photographs are presented in the environment of a web site, surrounded by ads or other menus, and I find instead that the values. "It's my opinion and I share" to quote Mr. Prudhomme -) The key is to make pictures that we like a good continuation of photography.

+: Superbly controlled composition, black and white transition and management of light in the shadows, sky! : 2:

-:A little regret for framing which includes a small piece of plant in the upper left.

: 1:: 3: Cyril, the framing is great and the treatment in B & W enhances the sensation of winter cold, as the cemetery. I love cemeteries ... : 18:

You are right in what you say ... I love this angle of view, it reinforces the feeling gloomy ... Thank you to you.
