According to informed from a florist, she would periwinkle without much hesitation. A Japanese dogwood is a shrub, periwinkle is a plant that spreads blanket on the floor. Hope this is helpful, 45 GB, if not, a last resort, to decide, show the picture in a nursery. Best regards and thank you for the picture.

I confirm, it is a dogwood flowering dogwood or Japanese (Cornus kousa kousa dogwood or English). The white flower sometimes pale pink petals are four oval and pointed, as shown beautifully in the photo. Joli cliché: 1:
