Author 'Gipsy34' (Id 117939 ) : I think it is a dandelion ... but its light color makes me doubt, and yet they are all pale yellow in the region.

Bravo for this flower Josy neat, and bravo Fada for identification. Another flower that I recognize when I go walking in the countryside of the South.

You had reason to doubt Gipsy, because it is the flower of the urosperme Daléchamps (Urospermum dalechampii). It is a perennial, Mediterranean, whose flowers are yellow and sulfur are all equipped with a ligule that ends with five small black teeth. They bloom in May. It is found along roads, in waste places or grasslands. This plant is sometimes eaten when young, in salads, its taste is very bitter. Beautiful shot: 1:: 6:: 18:.

Fada thank you for your passage and your identification. I hesitate more and more, these flowers resemble those of dandelion tufts of hair that form after the flowers are all similar. From dandelions, salsify meadow and now urosperme of Daléchamps, I lose my Latin. How do you recognize?

We used to see yellow rather supported, it is well presented.

I doubt, however, because the dandelion that I posted a few days ago, in fact it is a meadow salsify which does the same clump of hair as dandelion, ah if only Fada passed by.
