Author 'Denis246' A voir (Id 174014 ) : The week last, a magazine specialized in organ, which had a record being finalized on the renovation of the organ of St Severin in Paris, me contacts to use the photo in link, the famous pillar torsade of this church. In fact they were looking mainly to cover a photo of the pillar and the whole organ. The viewing angle is not simple. I went fast to make this photo, that they have actually accepted for coverage!

Thanks Charly. No, not ghost. But the photo was taken Friday (Friday of the week last), day of the commemoration of the death of Christ. This day, the cross are covered with a veil in the choir of the churches.
For what is stained glass it is clear but not completely white, and in fact, clearly underline because the Church is quite dark, as shown in the EXIFs. I like this local safety that gives the impression of light also came...

Yes Manu, the main pillar, is twisted. Quite unique in its kind, it is one of the curiosities of this church.

Your picture on the cover of the journal news organs is the most beautiful effect, Denis. All my congratulations. I imagine easily that the angle of decision-making has not been easy to find given that need you to integrate the two elements, organ and pillar. What I guess be top of a cross drapee of black and purple is a great more in your photo (FVNI) woman veiled not listed. : 18:
