Author 'Briant' (Id 164371 ) : Almost, here's an overview from the rear of the temple, the most surprising is that in 1950, the Pavilion of gold has been fully fire, by a monk mentally deficient; This event is at the centre of the novel by Yukio Mishima, the gold Pavilion. The current, rebuilt building has the same, date of 1955.

I can only advise to go there (I know, this is not obvious) to at least the area of Kyoto, with NARA, KAMAKURA and UJI) complêter to TOKYO to see the modern side, the 15 days will be property filled in)

Do an organised trip is convenient for those who are not in the habit of preparing for their journey, but a little expensive.
By contrast, we may predict a week in KYOTO, requires information about the public transport of the city and the surrounding region, this is another lived on the spot, sometimes with difficulty that he must accept, but also intense moments (not necessarily where one thinks it is)

In japan one does not feel 'the adventurer at the bottom of the jungle' it is a modern country

I have planned a lot of other photos of this country to show on this site. Hoping that you'll change the 'one way or another).

I dream to go to Japan. Also I rush on your photos. This golden pavilion is beautiful (even if it is no longer authentic).
