A P'tite Gueule Very Nice

Author 'Ondine' (Id 181337 ) : While doing the tidying up, I found this closeup of my 'buddy' (at the love cow : it bit me and that's not good !) the great capricorn of the oak. We are well past 20' in head-to-head, in full sun, and it bumped !
I don't see often and I ended up tuning it to force to always recover back into position to be photographed despite his attempts tireless to go into hiding (this is probably why it has come to bite me !)
It is a beetle that leaves no one indifferent, by its size and its antennae very long, he stirs constantly.

Thank You Elly ! Is he pinched me, is that I take always to be able to take it and I had to leave, dragging a finger too close is It wriggling all these legs ! The bird of which you speak had better be big enough and have a big beak, it is a large insect leathery !

I admire you to dare to touch this insect. Me, if I had seen it, I would've gone running, I think !

This close-up of the great capricorn of the oak trees is impressive, and the details stand out on the red petals. Good photo complementary : congratulations Misty, and thanks.

Thank you for your time, Nicole. Look at his two mandibles at the front, between the two, slightly open, we see a little red to the pink, I have other photos where it is more open and where you can see clearly what I call, the pliers, it must have a sacred power when it grabs well something to put under the tooth, my finger was too wide

That's true ! Thank you for your passage Ninik It has no teeth so it does not bite , I would have had to say 'pinch' instead, and its claw is sharp, I can say this , moreover, I've seen him cut a branch of flower of a kick-net, brrr !!!
