A Path That Goes Away

Author 'Papillon' (Id 186797 ) : This is my first try at HDR, this photo is taken from the top of our peaks, the small lake surrounded by poplars yellow rests in the hollow between the mountains, the clouds seem to touch the earth on this day and a small trail will get lost in the distance, beyond the clouds.

Beautiful view well framed. The clouds seem to want to invade the valley and its small village. Beautiful duotone colors. I like very much this photo. Stay tuned for more photos. Marcel.

The treatment seems well and quite realistic, reinforcing the volume effect of the clouds. However it seems to me that you have a bit too accentuated the sharpness (or forced on one setting), and the surface earthy seems to be very grainy.

Very nice atmosphere, the view is splendid, there must be a beginning to everything, it is a little bit accentuated for my taste, would it be possible to see the original Butterfly ?

A test very successful Butterfly this valley with these clouds in the background, accompanied by beautiful color bravo and thank you

Very beautiful look, realization at the top ( the framework in harmony with the colour of the soil) The hdr accentuates the dark side of... Without artificial. If I had not been mentioned, I would not have detected the hdr.
At the end of the path, the light points... the hope of better days is this...

I agree with Cathy for the good summary of the thing...
A hyper-pointillism on the dunes may be so, but the clouds are fantastic...
You are on the right path, case to follow and bravo

for this test without overload, and where the hdr goes almost unnoticed, which to me is evidence that it is successful. It is like makeup : it should sublime without leaving guess !!!
> Daniel78 [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Nov 08, 2012
For a first hdr, for me, it is super successful ! The presentation is top-notch. Beautiful landscape and skies that seems to want to swallow...

Beautiful autumn colors on these mountains, of which vertices are these ?
> Gipsy34 [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Nov 08, 2012
Successful test, I like the color of the earth and the clouds impressive. However, the eye is not attracted to the centre, fortunately that you describe. Thank you for this photo with nice colors.
