A beautiful encounter

Author 'Jofu' (Id 231471 ) : It was the day of the year, in the countryside of chartres. Everything was uniformly white, and conducive to a hike restorative after the meal of the previous evening .

It is a little too bright for my taste but I certainly would not have done better !

The original had a slight blue cast. I tried something that I control poorly and it failed ; the trees are neither white nor grey. This shows that when an image is not very good at shooting, post processing cannot catch up, especially with an operator, little skilled in post-processing. Thank You Cathy.

Well tried, but to my taste it is a little too dazzling white, and as Charly, we lose the details. It is improvable by reducing a little bit the gamma. Otherwise, leaving in color, the blue cast can be correct it can be. The composition pleases me well, and the swans are well placed in the image

Very good comment, Mady. I'll try to rework the original. Thank you for your passage.

As I said to Charly, the photograph presented a small dominant blue. In editing in N&B, I got it but I am a little disappointed. Thank You Danièle.

An attempt at a High Key on a landscape covered by ice and it is a good idea.
(AB+). But too bad we lost in details.

Here is the genesis of the photo. As I was told, contrary to what one might believe, that he had to overexpose in the presence of a landscape of snow to avoid getting the grey, I did and I got a little blue cast. Yes, I thought the High Key, which will be the working theme of my club in February . I have tinkered with Silver Efex Nick collection ; I'm not an ace in the post processing and I admit I'm a little disappointed, some whites are a bit yellow. I'll probably be another photo which is a little High Key, more natural, that I have almost not touched up but it is not the swans. Thank You Charly.

Of course, everything was white, but the result is that your photo is lack of contrast. I do not enjoy.

It is true, Ninik. I forced just a little to have a photo to 'white', almost 'high key' but I can see that the white of the trees is not top. I'm not an ace in the post processing. Thank you for your passage.
