Good picture that would allow an expert to identify this leaf beetle but, having done some research, I remained perplexed at the sight of the many varieties. May be a Donacia aquatica the fact that you found one near a lake.

That is precisely the problem with the species as close. On a forum, I was told that several similar species could be found on the same area.
