It is beautiful this red-throat ! In addition to the photo is really original with this seed in the beak ! It almost seems that it posed specially for the picture ! Bravo in any case, it is super successful !

Very nice catch, george is wonderful with his quick snack. Not always easy to succeed in a snapshot like that. Bravo

A big thank you to all of you for these comments warm about this camera unexpected and unique, obtained with a lot of patience, and above all a chance for the fraction of a second during which my buddy George has taken the pose to the right place. I had a nice request for a second decision, he made the timid !

If the bird is very beautiful, clean and pleasant colours, unfortunately I can't say the same for the technical part. A true disappointment with the burnt beyond 50%, a framing bit neat and chromatic aberration is very obvious. I'm Sorry.

Thank you Momjade for this comment. Would you have solutions to improve the technical aspect ?
For the burnt, I was confronted by the fact that snow is white ; may be the tint in green or blue ? For the framing, I had a lot of luck that George poses and freezes a fraction of a second just deal with a minimum opening of the window, so as not to scare and not to have frozen fingers, index finger tense on the trigger to keep the focus prior. Finally, chromatic aberration is the reverse of the medal, a lens opening 2. 8 to 432 mm. Time too much covered to close a little more, already forced to go up to ISO 200 for 1/60 s, no tripod, and no question of blind George with the flash. Hence the dilemma : photo 'nature' or no photo !

Hello and welcome to FEI, the black bars aside, your red throat is all the same superb. The eye is clear and the seed in the beak.

He and superior, beautiful red tone-in bra , one has the impression that the grain is too big for him, a nice picture

It is beautiful ! While inflated, not too timid, but still close to the flight, it seems very busy to keep this up, who offers him the treat ! The colors, the little lace at the bottom of his eye all round, its little beak taking this seed and sharpness make this image a real success as all would like to print on the corner of his balcony ! Thank you Alain I love this picture !

The posture of the bird is interesting and the image is clear. It has already said it all on the frame. Welcome to FEI ; when there will be a presentation in the forum ?

This red-throat all the stock is very cute and clean. The remarks of Isabelle S. B are very judicious. Bravo, however, thank you for this superb bird with the seed in his beak and welcome on FEI.
Happy new year 2013, that it brings you health, happiness and many joys to you and your family and all your loved ones.

A beautiful bird that red throat seized at the right time with this seed in its beak The framing is too tight

> Isabelle S.B [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jan 19, 2013
Good evening and welcome to FEI.
It is well net and well stitched this red throat and its colors are well-rendered . However, there are points that you can improve and the advice of the members of FEI will help you it's a Pity that you have the ais taken if tight. Off-center, with the space facing to the eye and without those black bars, it would have been much better. I don't know if you saw, but the outline of the tail is blue = chromatic aberration.

Unfortunately, I had no choice in the framing, the black stripes are the amounts of the window between open. The blue color on the contour of the tail is due to the product aperture * zoom, both to their maximum value for this photo, in low light conditions despite the snow, one of the few defects of the FZ20, a device unmatched in the optical level before the recent release of the FZ200.
