A little piece of home to me or almost

Author 'Perronnet Catherine' (Id 212319 ) : The trip to Portugal via Spain is finished. Here is a very old and beautiful monument, just a few kms from my home and that has recently been restored. This is the priory-hospital of Cayac. It is built on an ancient roman road, dates from the Xiii and the Xiv centuries and is located on the Via Turonensis, which connects Paris to santiago de Compostela via Tours, Bordeaux and Bayonne. It welcomes new pilgrims.

Ninik has done a remarkable job, her version is consistent with the rules but she is too wise,
The original version of Perronnet Catherine, by the tilt of the vertical, gives the impression that the monument is animated, it will fly away.

I am in total agreement with you, but we have a conception of the picture is a little different from that of the majority of the Feïstes !

I would say that it differs a lot
There are also Golondrina who likes this kind of treatment as you can see on the picture linked
But it does more than photos on the Eif.

You make us discover a beautiful find . I appreciate the work of sculpture and the corner tower. A very nice restoration. I regret that it is in the shadow but you couldn't move the sun .

Thank You Joel. The building as a whole is much greater than this, of course.

This beautiful building is well worth a small recovery. I am hitched and I will send it immediately.
