A ride on the St Joan Erquy

Author 'Patjoe' (Id 201215 ) : A small photo of Erquy taken from the Sainte Jeanne, this vessel is the faithful replica of an old sailing ship that was carrying in the time, blocks of granite and sandstone pink. It is designed specifically for this. On Erquy, there is a quarry of red sandstone. The Sainte Jeanne is managed by an association which allows walkers to do a ride of 2 or 3 hours by sea and explore the coast. Our friends of Erquy are all volunteers in this association.

I like the position of the sail back, which seems to deviate as to let us admire the pleasant views of Erquy, all in fineness. The sea is calm, the horizon upright Some 20 minutes later, it was otherwise

Thank you so much Anne for your visits and comments. Indeed, in the port the sea was calm, away this move much more and the boat was leaning on the side of the sails, not being balanced by the weight of a load. My husband said to me, 'It's just a little roll', but he is accustomed to sail on small boats not badly tossed about by the waves. Me, a little less if not... In any case, it was a nice ride, a bit more sunshine at the start would have been welcome.

A very nice view from the sailboat, I imagine how the landscape becomes more and more clear in it closer...

I love the framing with the front of the boat, and the view from the beach thank you Joelle

Hello Manu, thank you for your visits and comments. I'm glad that you like this photo, I have a weakness for it too. Just this is the back of the boat, I should have clarified, in fact, we are starting from Erquy, and the people who were on the boat were all at the front to attend the manoeuvres, and see what happens at the start. This has allowed me to make this picture without humans... On the other photo, you see the front. Friendly. Joelle.

Hello, Joanne, nice shot of this beautiful Saint Joan. I also like the curtain pulled to the side to let them see the coast.

I also love this photo and I like the comment of Labrume. We travel and we have before us a beautiful landscape .

I like this photo, where the veil opens like a curtain for us to discover the landscape.
