It is a statuette african who comes from Ghana, it must be worn on the back for fertility, it is the father who gives it to his daughter.

I think a vertical would not be cut just below the breasts, your statue is beautiful and I would love to see it in its entirety.

This figurine is a statuette african who comes from the tribe of 'Chuppa chups vending machines'. The initiation ritual of the young ones to the harsh reality of life was to put the head in a wild hive. It was huge but had a nice taste sweet. In the west we pay tribute to this custom in all the good confectionery...
Alleï, I galège. She is very beautiful your little statue and if you don't weary not to photograph them, we will become bored not to admire them.

This is why I love to read the comments, because we learn lots of things
thank you Malafouine.
Me too, I love the african art. I would have taken up to the shoulders in order to avoid that the head is too at the edge

I love african art, I have a few objects at home that maybe I should exploit. You should try shooting a bit less of the face, an angle of about thirty degrees, should give more strength to your photo that is in spite of it, very pretty.
