Agave 20120805 Century plant

Author 'Syruloben' (Id 181316 ) : I send you this photo of a flower agave (Majorca) not for its quality but because I have been affected by this plant that grows for three years before putting all his strength in the production of a single flowering stem of several meters. Once it has flowered and been involved in, and to reproduce the whole plant will dry and die.

A lot of care and thought to the adaptation of the framework to minimize the secondary benefit of the main subject.
A hard and beautiful example of the survival of the species

Of course, with pleasure, but I've never done a tutorial so not too sure I do. In what topic to post ? This frame is made with photoshop but I guess the principle is the same on all programs. In fact, it is quite easy to do.

Very nice layout, original It is only on the photo of the Matterhorn, and of the biases that I noted a slight excess of the net that would harden the whole.

My uncle had one in his garden and he told me the same thing about this cactus but he told me that this flower stalk has appeared in a single night : they went to bed and the next day : Miracle ! The agave plant was a flowering stem of several meters, it is incredible, is this really possible ?
Thank you for the beautiful vertical presentation of this cacti.

Thank you for your comment which has intrigued me about the speed of the shoot I did some research and actually the growth is very rapid. A few days, so if you do not look your agave every day you can tell that she has pushed in a night. In any case I like this idea...

It is a poetry, this plant. Mother nature contains a lot of secrets. Thank you for the photo and information accompanying it.
