Allamanda neriifolia arg 11f 4971 tropic butterfly

Author 'Ninik' (Id 152427 ) : By visiting the Tropic of butterfly Elne (66), I found this beautiful plant and what appears to be the fruit or it will contain flowers. On the plant there was a sign "Allamanda neriifolia" but research on the net disprove that. So I do not know the identity of this tropical plant that looks like a palm tree.

I simply do not know, Julie. According to my research (the images are not always very clear) it would be open before the flower but I have not found any of this size. : 11: If anyone knows more ...

The foliage is indeed thinking about the family of exotic ferns, but I do not know more ... As against the result is interesting ... Is it edible or what functions is it? Do you know? Thank you for this discovery: 6:

Following research Kaenafelix (shit Judith), it seems that it is a fern, cycads from Mexico: Dioon edule female (virgin palm in English).

It's really a very beautiful plant. It would be nice to have in the garden, but I think it would be too cold in most places at home, except the south course. : 4:: 5:
