This is not commonplace this assembly, and stones are indeed very beautiful. The plants in the least, and the whole will have a whole other look. Thank you for this discovery.

What a lot of work to cut and assemble one such building, and all that for a well ! It is another thing to build a fence !
Is this a common practice in your region ?
(Good idea this clearing on the forum : we could see the gardeners-photographers of the site to work ).

As you say Charly ! The former do resisted not to the task
The wells in this region were always protected in this way or with a small wooden construction.
I know at least one other with the same protection most high, but where I am currently trying to reactivate my brain jellies to find it and go take pictures.
I will appeal to the gardeners of the forum in the meantime

Construction little banal. The roof is built into the 'walls' in an interesting way. The surrounding vegetation seems to be mainly made up of wallflowers that are waiting for the spring to flower, a bit of mucking-out buffer could be rewarding in fact. A curiosity that you have damn well made us to be present, JC ! The church is nearby

In fact, it is the vegetation in the 'wintering' and I find it a pity to hide the lines of these very old stones, ditto for the old rose bushes to be poorly maintained
Thanks, Anne.

I wouldn't as well in the state, however the vegetation has the air of the freshly planted, and it should not take more scale...
It is very beautiful this small shelter stone rustic hope...

They are in 'hibernation' Julie I don't know what and I personally will see well disappear.
Thank you for having given your opinion.
