Animal butterfly Robert le Diable

Author 'Gipsy34' (Id 222504 ) : Yesterday, December 1st, small 2-hour ride on the hill where I saw this butterfly basked in the sun on the bark of a pine. When I looked at it on my PC I saw that he lacked, unfortunately, a piece of wing that I am not arrive to replenish them. I have the impression by the cutting of its wings that it is a butterfly Robert the Devil, this is the first time that I see one in my area.

Very nice photo of this butterfly is heated in the sun. I also think that it is a 'Robert the Devil'. This one bathed in a soft light, perfect sharpness. Josy and thank you.

He had to see it. When the wings are folded there is a 'C' white at the origin of the latin name of the species 'c-album'.
