Author 'Lumixane' (Id 83567 ) : We are not in Pamukkale but Technoport Pagny le Chateau near Seurre Côte d'Or, at the northern end of the river route to large gauge Rhône-Saône. This terminal is in close liaison with the autonomous port of Marseille. Among other material, 80 000 tonnes of salt are stored here every year is quite impressive, the "mountain" presented on the linked picture is a little behind and is about 20 meters in height.
