Bravo, I dare not yet attack me for the nature morte. The time to discover a little my slr and my goals.

> Leborgne.jean-luc [G] [P] [C] >Reply Jul 19, 2015
For a 2nd attempt is not bad at all, and not at all easy to achieve. So, I say bravo.

A very nice pictorial effect for these seasonal fruits

> Spiros [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Nov 30, 2014
The scholar of the previous picture has actually been hungry, he has balanced the books, cut the apple and went to find a nutcracker
What helped you make a very beautiful photo-evocative and appetizing.

The key is to find the right lighting but that is not perfect here. Thank You Françoise.

Superb compo. Not obvious at all to achieve. You have done very well. Again, congratulations.

It is nice and I like the simplicity of your layout template . Beautiful image.

Simplicity of the staging, yes, but not easy with the gear (tripod, lighting, etc.). Thank You Guylaine.

Not so easy still lifes ! The subject is well chosen for the season provision rewarding, but the lighting with an iphone doesn't give the finesse to the table : there are areas a little too bright, the cut apple, and dark areas, the bottom of the image. These areas lack detail. I am certainly harsh in my diagnosis, but it is what I am but for the test so TB

You is not severe Fifie, you're quite lucid, and I share your opinion. As I said, this kind of lighting is difficult to measure and does not oppose the lit areas and the shadows. As you say also, the key for me is to have tried. Thank you for your comment well argued.

A very beautiful composition of nature morte. Colors emerged and good sharpness. Idea to follow...

For a test it is a success ! Thou hast a good school. It is a beautiful treatment on which I have not yet been addressed. Thank you !

The 'good school', this is my club. In contrast to FEI, the comments are 'live', in front of the screen ; sensitive souls refrain. Thank You Dede.

Beautiful, good painters will take the model of this picture ! Congratulations, I think you've found the 'more' which allows you to do this kind of photography.
You're going to be emulated

Thank Chouna. As I am a little amateur, I take pleasure in trying to photograph new subjects.

Nice composition fruit. The side lighting brings out the different fruits. The black background fits very well to this photo. Cheers Joel for the photos. Marcel.

Unfortunately, it is difficult to accurately measure the lighting with an iPhone. Thank You Marcel.

It is successful in your nature dead, it looks like an old painting master. Good idea to cut the apple in half, which makes a beautiful effect of light.

Thank You Cathy. It would be better with a light produced by the material of pro .

> Mady [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Nov 23, 2014
Another very nice composition The light is stronger than your previous photo, to my perception it would be almost a bit too much on the apple, and the pear on the right, a few details are dimmed

It is difficult to measure the light with this kind of process. It would be good studio equipment. Thank You Mady.

It is already not bad at all with a hardware-non-pro and this is only my perception of things is not necessarily the best looking more closely at the natural light in the two shots on the black background is more beautiful, more uniform. I tried a post-processing that I spend retouching

> Isabelle S.B [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Nov 23, 2014
I arrived a little late, but I note that apple has not darkened. You had to have the citronner, before
Beautiful setting in scene of these autumn fruits. The light is precisely proportioned, neither too little, nor too too. It is impecc (TB+).

I would like to achieve this kind of photo, but I lack the creativity to direct the scene like you do.
(TB+). I would have maybe tried it with a background of dark brown for go in the spirit of the paintings of Dutch style.
