I would like to include this image among the 2000 pictures of my next inventory of the nature of the mediterranean 'GARRIGUE grandeur nature', volume 2. In the chapter devoted to the shells of the Midi. How to contact the author to ask his permission ?

What a strange case, I think an octopus is currently enjoying a shell.

The food chain and the survival of the fittest: it should not be protected but also intelligent.

The look of the animal is so endearing, it is exceptional.

Oh no, not my creature to me either, it 'dégueux' as they say. But that does not photograph well be taken. : 18:

Very beautiful photo copy! I had not seen this kind of "silly". It looks a little scupion without the shell. Thank you for this beautiful image.

Pretty neat photo and unusual, but it must be this sticky little beast, I do not touch.

I certainly found it in Britain. In the Mediterranean at a pinch. It would not rather in Dubai by chance?

Seen in Dubai, in fact ... I placed the shipment in Dubai but the topic has been moved: 18: As for the presumptive identification, I thank you because I did not even have the curiosity to find out about this amazing mollusk, thinking it was a squat but you seem to consider and the cephalopod shells are one? Thank you for your response: 18: I will search!

> Hiedra98 [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Nov 29, 2009
I am flabbergasted. How could you catch a beautiful picture? But what this cephalopod mollusk? I take risks: I think it's a nautilus, a lady then since only the female produces a shell to house its eggs.

You're absolutely right, it is indeed a female argonaut, the data found on the net match exactly what we have before our eyes. A revelation! Thank you very much. : 18:

> Annie.reymondie [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Nov 28, 2009
You have the gift of the unexpected shot: 11: An indisputable sharpness, colors that I love a bit iridescent eye and a "scrutineer" blue like the sea of my tropics: 18:.

> Candy [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Nov 28, 2009
: 4: Hi, well this picture is amazing. What a beautiful eye color. It's very pretty. : 19:: 18:

I love the colors and the composition of the original photo. His eye is funny. : 6:: 2:: 3:

> Gigicocker [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Nov 28, 2009
Your photo is funny, it looks like your octopus is currently in a test of this shell. He dismisses the opening for a look inside. : 18: And what look blue: 4:: 2:!

> Isabelle S.B [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Nov 28, 2009
Oh what I have eyes octopus ... : 18: True, he has a handsome look that I wanted. An octopus with ears glued to a shell, must hear the sea! Not original for an octopus. Just kidding, but you did a beautiful composition, colors are superb and the editing out of the ordinary. 1:

Isa, I said that it is not edited. When I saw the thing, the octopus was still warm in its cocoon. : 18: Thanks for the interest.

In this case, this picture is even more remarkable: 1: Where'd you get that octopus??

> Julicarm [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Nov 28, 2009
Here is a cliché out of the ordinary, just as customary at the scene of the animal ... The eye is representative of his interest to dig into the shell Congratulations for making this.

> Marcel >Reply Nov 28, 2009
A nice crisp with superb detail! The colors are beautiful and seem very real.
