Author 'Lucien1931' (Id 149392 ) : Climbing plant that grows in my garden in the flower decoction gives a bluish water used to cook the rice, which thereby becomes blue. The name?? May be among you a botanist who could enlighten me thank you.

I like much the light which gives some nice variety of color to the petals of this beautiful flower, which was unknown to me.

I confirm, it is indeed the plant called clitoris ternate (clotoria ternatea Butterfly Pea or English). It is a herbaceous perennial vine. It is native to tropical regions of Asia, and belongs to the family Fabaceae. Indonesia and Malaysia, the flowers are used for coloring foods (riz. ..) and roots, bark for dyeing fabrics in blue.
