Ault to 2 hdr Cliff

Author 'JC' A voir (Id 100856 ) : A Sunday stroll to the cliffs to enjoy too short a day of fine weather. The site of the end of the Alabaster Coast, interrupted by the Bay of Somme, that appears at the bottom. The village of Ault / Onival or I often drags, I left the house in the foreground right, just to show the precarious situation in which some of them are (I'm not sure it is still inhabited), we can see upper right side of the road which looks like a crack indicating the fragility of these huge pieces of chalk. For info you see the cliffs of the "ears" of cement that slow (in principle) erosion. There was a long time ago now what they called "the path of customs" there are still some portions prohibited, much collapsed at the foot of cliffs. The view is taken from the point view of Bois de Cise .

hello, very nice photo, as well as all of this series, taken at Ault. I know and I love this place.
When we go to the horizon, to the restaurant, where we eat very well, moreover, it is not uncommon to have a beautiful sunset over the sea !
Thank you for these beautiful photos. Sincerely, Marie-Lo.

Very beautiful picture, for my part I will ask myself not too close, too high. I passed, and it's really impressive, I intend to return to the spring, I remember the color of the water against the light green with the board as milk, it was early January, beautiful. JC Bravo, beautiful photo of a beautiful country.

Splendid autumnal colors of this picture! It is a delight to my eyes ... : 3: I think the time when it was taken makes it much because the shadow of the cliffs is the blue of the sea: 1:: 6:

+: This photo shines through the shadows projettées cliffs and the beautiful light generated by a cloudy sky, the famous cliffs that made you famous, JC! We all have our favorite terrain: 18: Another wonderful photo.

-:I think I erased and road building on the left to further embellish the reality ...

I do not always understand why some photos reproached lack of reality, and others, we want to modify to make it more beautiful. It is not directed specifically to you Anne, but your comment helps me m 'views on this subject. As for this picture, it suits me as it is with this beautiful light and a treatment that renders the terrain of cliffs. : 1: I understand with your explanation, JC, the reason for these spikes, which seem only to slow the erosion of your bluffs. : 11:

Hello Charly. I think you allude to the hdr treatment, which in my opinion too modifies the color and "texture" of things. As for my comment about the photo of JC, I never would have done if not properly read his intro: 12: since it is "justified". In this case, it is a picture I would call poetic, hence my desire to eradicate all traces of civilization: 4: But in this case, there was much to do and more road and building on the right! I seem the most obvious. All this is debatable, of course ... : 18:
