More majestic than ever in this photo! The angle of view, sharpness, everything is perfect ... The lion as I've never seen!

This is not an easy one to grasp given the dimensions of the beast, but the result is superb. I know it well and the photo is successful with a particular lighting making well worth the famous Lion of Belfort made of blocks of pink sandstone from Perugia, sculpture of Frederic Bartholdi. Bravo, excellent shot !

Beautiful this lion, I saw it when I was a child, always so imposing
> Rotine [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Nov 25, 2007
Very impressive this lion, he surely must dominate the whole of Belfort, it must be beautiful from up there.

For seeing there is already a very long time, it has not taken a ride and the photo transmits well her corpulence.

It is impressive the lion, despite its large dimensions, as you photographed. It is a very beautiful shot.
> Domi [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Nov 24, 2007
I remember I went to see it and it is true that it is impressive.
> Guylaine [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Nov 24, 2007
It is all the less impressive the lion, it is a very beautiful statue. Thirty-three feet it starts to make impressive indeed.

The sight of this lion fills me still with joy. And it is so beautiful at night under the lights of the projectors. Thank you Kim, you have well captured, the colors are beautiful.

It must not be easy to capture this Lion of Belfort. What size is it ? I think that if you can make a hdr-version would be interesting Thank you for the lion, but it has nothing to do with a panda, not at all the same diet, among other things

A view of nose, I would say that it is 20 metres long by 10 metres high ; it is impressive indeed, especially seen close up.

Am zero in hdr Eva, if there is an amateur to try that it does not interfere.

The 'Lion of Belfort' is 22m long and 11m high. It is in sandstone of the Vosges. A reply to the third was erected in Paris, Place Denfert-Rochereau, which until then, was called : a Place of Hell. There is also a replica at the Montreal botanical Garden. Beautiful tribute to the Colmarien Frédéric-Auguste Bartholdi in BELFORT.
> Heuzeja [G] [P] [C] >Reply Nov 23, 2007
This lion template impressive seems quite unalterable. The angle of view reinforces the impression of power.
> Charly [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Nov 23, 2007
Our Panda is far too modest to show themselves in such a posture. The angle makes us look even more imposing this lion, who proudly poses.
> Le fan belfortain [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Nov 23, 2007
Our good old Lion remains faithful to his post even in the rain and keep your head high in remembrance of the resistance of the Belfortains of the past. Unless it is for you to impress !
> Camelia [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Nov 23, 2007
It is impressive the lion, it feels small in hand, superb photo, can be a bit of contrast and a presentation framework that would be better I think
