Here I am "for real", Charly ... It is your superb cricket he seems dressed in battle dress of the Middle Ages ... Suffice to say this is awesome! Great shot, thank you to you! : 3:: 4:: 6:

It's almost what I was saying to a colleague with whom I watched the beast. This desert makes me think of a samurai in armor. Perhaps "our" armor are also inspired by nature??

: 4: Hello, nice neat making this desert and a pretty presentation. Thank you for sharing. : 18:: 19:

The choice of B & W and color is seen very successful. : 1:: 3:

Euhhh ... Sorry, the comment of The Scream below, it's mine! : 13: I failed to disconnect my computer from my sister before writing my babbling: 12: I therefore renew my compliments, and beg you, little sister, forgive me ... : 6:
> Bendulot [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jan 31, 2011
A great performance for this style which is a little work, I still regret overexposure of the insect (for my taste ...) a very slight blur and bokeh a bit messy, good frame .. .
> La cri [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jan 31, 2011
But Nan, Judy! : 9: She exaggerates! : 20: ... Me, I feast with the eyes, and I congratulate you, Charly, your critter is sublime and presented! : 1:: 3:: 2: Where is the tutorial you one? : 14:

: 1:: 3:: 6: While there ... It's great art. This puts me in cricket appetite ... Yum, grilled is delicious ... : 19:

Giant, giant, it should still not exaggerate: 19: I like the background in black and white which brings into focus the soft colors of the insect and the frame that goes behind some grass. : 3: I dare not even imagine the work that must be to do all this. : 1:

Imagine a giant, about 85 times bigger than you (from memory, it should not exceed 2 cm), look at you, you do not take it back, Jacques! : 19: As for the job, when you love, you do not count (it's not that long with a little help). : 18:
> Danhawk [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] (http://) >Reply Jan 30, 2011
Nice picture, it's true. : 1:: 3: But you'd better watch out, I know enough about these critters to tell you that there, it looks bad. And it has done little kung-fu ... ! : 13:
> Isanchis >Reply Jan 30, 2011
Ah love! Not the creature but the presentation that makes it so good out: 3:: 2:
> Louise [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jan 30, 2011
Very good idea to have ISOlated the foliage. You do not see it and make it monstrous details. : 6:: 6:
> Lumixane [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Jan 30, 2011
The black and white that points to the beast that would become almost frightening!

Yet we were nose to nose and I did not even get scared ... Neither did it! : 19: Thanks to Panda for identification. : 18:

: 1: With its short antennae, I think it is rather the 'Desert pasture' (Chorthippus parallelus). It is very clear and beautiful light puts it nicely in value over the background in black and white. Splendid presentation: Charly Bravo and thank you. : 3:
