It's great for taking the time to observe the cicadas in full birth. Bravo. At home, in Belgium, I have not used 19:. And thank you for the info you give about the metamorphosis.

Thank you for having had a look in my gallery, insects is a hobby for a long time, it's a fascinating world, their biggest enemy is man and chemicals that make it sees less and less, the picture can capture the sort.

Ery very happy to have brought the light ... Once we saw this scene we can better understand what a complete metamorphosis, similar to that of a butterfly among others.

The Return of Alien is what makes me feel like this picture, you were there at the right time, photographed a rare, beautiful macro; damage a small piece is cut a little high but not too serious, superb : 1:: 3:

The document is exceptionally true and the author may be satisfied but the way it is attached is a misnomer. Here we have a sequence of operation, the "imago," which lasted several hours and which corresponds to the entry of the cicada in the world of light. The birth took place 2 or 3 years earlier, or even 5 and throughout this period of life has been completely underground, blind, spent digging tunnels in order to move to feed on sap from plant roots of the place . The duration of this development is subject to the richness of the environment and species. Some cicadas know it seems an underground life of 17 years!

Time Hunter thank you for your clarification on the cicadas, the life of the perfect insect is relatively short compared to its larval life indeed. Some even wrote that the only lives one day cricket, but I think that this is not true.

Framing a bit too tight, otherwise the birth of cricket is well regarded and certainly rare. : 3:

Quite right, it's not a photo of this year, it is part of a series that I realized there are a dozen years and more money with an SLR with Olympus OM I think a macro lens converter. But no matter the bottle long as you have drunk ...
