Nice photo well framed and sharp, with beautiful colors. Without doubt this is his true color, but it is more brown than black.

This is truly a 'black Swan' (Cygnus atratus), but juvenile and its plumage a brownish colour will not become black at the age of two years. It is already very elegant and proud on this blue, blue water and gently stirred. Beautiful photo : thank you.

Rather brown but beautiful ! The swell hides the object of his attention.
Father Christmas would it be already past ?
> Goldwing >Reply Dec 17, 2007
Black or brown, it does not remain about it less nice. It really looks like his beak and the bottom in the water by the heat
> Heuzeja [G] [P] [C] >Reply Dec 17, 2007
It looks like his beak discoloration occurs in the water ! Or then he took a punch on the nose ! Welcome in the gallery of black swans.

it's Hard to capture the black swan, it is rather brown and my tests have given the same thing with the sun.
But it is beautiful and majestic this specimen
