Building Flamby Cahors

Author 'Ghislain' (Id 211145 ) : The buckling is explained under the previous snapshot. In the middle ages, the tax was levied on the ground surface. Therefore, the appearance of the studs for the upper floors. On the image we discern the system of beams designed to strengthen the structure and to lead the forces to the girders, to the ground, while the walls are made of wattle and daub, brick, or stone and rigidifiaient the structure. In short, my preference goes to our 'goubis' current least flamby less heritage.

Beautiful restitution photo of a building in the Middle Ages. The building is taken in its entirety, and you can clearly see the edge of the floors relative to the ground floor. Stay tuned for more photos. Marcel.
