Congratulations for the feat. The only time I managed to capture an insect in flight, it is when he is invited while I was photographing the flowers - it's a pure coincidence, but I was thrilled anyway.

This drone flight ver the lupin rose and well presented. Not easy as photo : bravo Pierrorelie and thank you. I wish you welcome on FEI.
Happy new year 2013, that it brings you health, happiness and many joys to you and your family and all your loved ones.

Not easy to take in flight of these little beasts. Thank you for having immortalized this moment.

for having succeeded in taking an insect in flight ; the exercise is difficult and you've pulled out. The framing could be better ; the flower of lupin is impressive and steals a bit of the spotlight at the main subject. There are distracting elements to the right and above the subject (black part). The subject matter is dark and lack of sharpness

I agree 100% Isabelle : ) I lack of practice that's for sure, I have a little too closed to have more depth of field, so I couldn't reduce the time of opening, and here the insect is a blur : )
As for the framing I admit to not having paid enough attention, being focused on the rapid flight of the insect. With more patience and a tripod I would have done better.
