What I think about it, is that it is a wonder... You'd think a range and this work of nature is both bright and soft : the velvet of the body, the iridescent colors... It is a single of its form... I copied, thank you !!!

I arrived a little late and everything is said on this nice photo, which, it is true, lacks a little bit of the net. However, beautiful portrait

I think a lot of your shot, I like the perfect semi-circle formed by the wings, here everything is harmony

As an extension of the branch of which it would be the hat, that's a nice butterfly net

A butterfly which we trace a beautiful diagonal !
I would have done is rotate the image 180° so that the subject looks upward.

Well-positioned and wings deployed, this butterfly Checkered Plantain' (Melitaea cinxia) is very beautiful and nicely set value : bravo and thank you.

The Checkerboard pattern of Plantain (Melitaea cinxia) is a lepidopteran belonging to the family Nymphalidae. On the hindwing, a series of black dots in the band submarginale of the wing can be distinguished. He loves the flower-filled meadows, her favorite plant is ribwort plantain and other plantains, but also the Véronique of Austria, the observation hawkweed and knapweed jade. Fawn, orange, clear, fawn, orange to yellowish, it is beautifully photographed.

It is very beautiful this butterfly and your shot is well seen, too bad it lacks a bit of net, and I think a bit centered but how to do otherwise
