Author 'Ninik' (Id 181148 ) : A white butterfly and cream came to rest on a plant of mint mixed with a rose bush but I've had a lot of trouble to make snapshots valid because it was always placed in the wrong position. I raised the rods but then I had more than a hand.
It could be a moth but I'm not sure.

I think like Ninik, this is the peppered moth plum (Angerona prunaria). The male is colored orange, while the female (photo) differs from the male only by its color-yellow ochre. Like most moths, the moths have periods of flight relatively short and well-located in the year. Nice catch in spite of everything

Thank you Fada because it is not easy to find in all these variants. In the absence of day butterflies, which do not remain in place, I had 2 x the chance of falling on a moth.

Beautiful photo Ninik, this is not a 'moth' , I think of a white butterfly on the cabbage, even if we do not see those eyespots, it is more like !!!

Thank you Mom for your comment. It is not a white butterfly because it was not white but really cream like the picture and had no ocelli. It is a butterfly that I had never seen it, and I think that Fada has found : the peppered moth plum.
