Sorry, but I am sure that this butterfly is not an amaryllis campion.

: 18: You did well to insist Gipsy because this is the butterfly 'Silenus': mottled gray-brown, broad white band and other smaller one eyespot on the wing earlier ... Bravo: 3:. Congratulations and thank you again for this superb Gb45 and clear picture. : 4:

A little doubt about the identity of this butterfly, I set the same and it has been identified as a satyr ... Amaryllis should not have these colors there?

Considering the throttle position, although I made a U-turn to get it vertical.

This butterfly 'Amaryllis' (Pyronia tithonus) is in a unique position that puts him nicely in value. Wings folded, it is well recognized in the light and dark blotches. Joli cliché: bravo and thank you. : 3:

I think this is the amaryllis (Pyronia Tithonus), which is often found at roadsides, in meadows, clearings and undergrowth. This butterfly seems pretty easy to photograph. He loves the warm sun. It is well presented and well illustrated. Good shot: 3:: 6:.

This butterfly is nicely positioned which makes an image out of the ordinary. A nice crisp in a very nice soft light.
