Hello, I'm new here, I stumbled by chance on this forum, I just added the link in favorites ! First of all, congratulations for this photo ! Beautiful, but also for this cactus, beautiful flowering ! It is a Mammillaria but not carmenae, rather Mammillaria zeilmaniana v. Albiflora ! I am a collector of cacti for several year ! Bye. nixo

I think it is the Mammillaria carmenae, a beautiful cactus with white thorns delicate and beautiful white flowers forming a crown. The flowers of cacti are short-lived (from a few hours to a few days). It takes good weather and a lot of heat for them to open. It is a small succulent plant stems, globose, woolly and silky.

Good it's been many time I see this photo and every time I think of a wedding, don't ask me why. This is stupid, but really, a bride with a beautiful crown. The impression of blur behind is superb. Mine cactus was a flower, a single red sublime. It was a lot bigger.
