On writing canadair... You rely on me, I'm Québécois and this aircraft comes from the Canadair in Quebec plants.

Very interesting photo of Canadair full effectiveness. It's always impressive to see them approach closer. Bravo to the reporter and photographer Thanks to firefighters. : 2:: 3:

Good picture. The fire is impressive. The picture gives a feeling of wanting to run as high as possible.

A very interesting image of the Canadair open dump water, a profession at risk. Hoping that the fire was not intentional.

> Archedenoe >Reply Aug 04, 2008
Superb. Contrast of colours is nice, balance of the image.

This allows you to realize the risks taken by these drivers often because of carelessness or worse of the criminal acts of some.

There is at the same time the spirit of reporting and research almost instinctive good framing. It had to be and press the shutter with composure and elegance. However, for my taste, I would have liked a little more 'air' in front of the aircraft. Obviously in this encounter, there was no time to philosophize.

I've seen it in real life to Gilette, near Nice, Photo impressive and scary because everything burns, bravo to these men

I love the canadair in the release, however like any good firefighter, I don't like a forest fire of this magnitude, and I think my colleagues who are below.

> Mapie >Reply Nov 15, 2007
Excellent ! It is one of the few photos of aircraft as successful. Bravo.

A very nice photo with a very nice fire but it is a shame that the fire destroyed so many forests !

Superb Image and a fitting tribute to those who do the work. The shooting is impeccable.

> Evalias >Reply Oct 09, 2007
The format doesn't favor the photo but the story is impeccable thank you and Thanks to the soldiers of the fire.

Yes Yes Yes What a beautiful photo !!! It is super good Mr photographer Guyban. You should give us a little history of how you took this shot. Everything is there, nothing is missing from it does not arise of the question except, the way to do it. Bravo photographer. I give you an a+

Already a big thank you to everyone for your comments, it is nice :) if not for the detail : living in the 66 there is a good fire. Seeing the fire, I took my car and queue up at the front. The gendarmes block the access, but you can park not far away. From there I take my gear and walk in the bush to the heights proper (risk-free) and in front of this 'show' I shoot ;).

A beautiful picture on what we would have desired to be no more than a year, but that is not the result of negligence. The civil protection to repair the damage of 'protection' of the military. to fire, to the military, and to the photographer.

Spectacular photo effect that this canader in full flight, if this is the aircraft I prefer them on the ground...

This is a picture to react to the authors of forest fire but also as a tribute to pilot gifted aircraft ! Congratulations and thank you for this photo-story.

Very beautiful photo, canadair in action is very well photographed, unfortunately, these fires occur in repeating too often. Excellent shot.

> Goldwing >Reply Oct 01, 2007
I don't like to see it, this says you've taken the canadair in action This is perhaps not blur at you (the bottom of the photo), but here yes, it is a pity that the photo does not make yourself at home

Thank you to all of you !This is the army in training which put out the fire. If not for Calain5, in fact it is not lack of sharpness on my original, may be too small or else I don't know. Thank you again :).

> Heuzeja [G] [P] [C] >Reply Oct 01, 2007
The framing seems to me to be very successful, air, release, fire, terrain, and smoke are present in the scene, the light is good. Excellent !

> Harmony >Reply Oct 01, 2007
Bravo for this photo taken on the spot ! I am of the same opinion that Mb as to the origin of these fires !

> VaSya [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Oct 01, 2007
Nothing but respect for these people who are fighting every day against the flames, I note max. For the rest, nice picture.

> Guylaine [G] [P] [C] [F] >Reply Oct 01, 2007
Must do take a picture in the full action of a canadair, a photo of all the less spectacular and quite sad at the same time.

> Mb33470 [G] [P] [C] [B] [F] >Reply Sep 30, 2007
Beautiful photo-reportage, which unfortunately raises many questions and anger about the origins of these fires...
