Carcasonne 2

Author 'Fredweb' (Id 157661 ) : Another picture of Carcassonne at dusk with a nice orange light, I struggled to adjust the picture, the dynamic range is too high, I made a compromise in Nikon Capture to clarify a little river.

The shooting is more interesting, a pleasant light illuminates the walls. I find the foreground a little too dark.

Yes, it is clear the foreground is dark, but in these light conditions, even with a lot of retouching it is almost impossible, unless you do hdr, but I'm not too fan of the hdr look often very artificial. The ideal would have been to reduce the subject as said Charly.

It is an angle that I don't know. Must say that I have always taken the city from the motorway. I'll have to go back to see the city when I have more time.
The sunset light seems to engulf the city, but this time it is the natural (not like the fireworks). The course water takes can be a little too much space in the image and reduces the topic.

It is a choice let the rivers but you are right, more panoramic it looks even better, but it no longer has the format of a wallpaper.

Good weekend to you also thank you very much, I would pass on the opportunity to see your last hdr, a technique I have not used it yet

It also date also, but I like the light of sunset on the walls. The vegetation has pushed out.
