Cascade St Vast

Author 'Papou26' (Id 183359 ) : Continuing on my 3rd visit to norman (in 3 years), I left temporarily Barfleur for The Vast where under a sun of lead is offered to my sight a timber walkway at the back of which I was able to 'spin' a beautiful waterfall. Here, no deafening noise, not 'factory to the tourists', the quiet, the serenity, for this magical and authentic, and fortunately, it is inaccessible (excluding heritage days).

this small bridge lace is beautiful and your picture is splendid. I know a little about the Cotentin and I very much appreciate this region like no other.

Hello Catherine,
Thanks for this new critic. As stated, I have discovered late in the Cotentin (Normandy) 3 years ago now and I do not get bored. Only 1OOO km, and dust, which to me separates this region I stifle a little

Very beautiful photo ! The bridge is beautiful and the water milky with the waterfall has a very beautiful effect.

Hello Butterfly, thank you for this positive review. I responded in detail to Géna for the details of this shooting in regards to the effect of the net from the water. I am happy that this photo pleases you.

Is that you are using a polarizing filter ?
The speed is slow.
Finally, I do not know how to do this kind of photo speed-slow or fast ?

Hello Géna, no, I did not use a polarizing filter for this shot, just a UV filter protecting the lens. I work most of the time in aperture priority mode, and I'm here to play with the MAP on the waterfall (dark) to have a speed approaching the 1/15' - 1/16' in this case. Aperture to F11 to get a PDC enough given the focal length (100mm on my 55-250m). I have to stabilize a maximum (support against a pole) to the remaining net.
In any case thank you for this comment.
