Cascade saint benoit a avrieux savoie

Author 'Boucher Marc dit de Meilh' A voir (Id 169510 ) : I you present here the Cascade Saint Benoit in Savoie, jelly in the winter and especially when it is as this year 2012-28 Celsius temperature is on the night of Saturday 4-Sunday 5 February.) This waterfall is located between the municipality of Aussois in Savoie and the municipality of Avrieux 73 also. It is powered by natural waterways in underground galleries as well as the plan of downstream dam located at the top of the cliffs or crucible of the mountain... The cascade is sinking his St-Benoit River passing through the small chapel of the same name dating from the medieval time. This place served and still serves in place of trip. Summer, when it is very hot in the mountains, the Cascade St-Benoit is a real luxury... On y complied by peaceful trails in undergrowth or meal rest areas and 'Pee'... environmentally friendly are developed. Marc Boucher said of Meilhan.

The immaculate Virgin,
In a long white dress,
The hope of the augurs
The Sky ? And imploring him ?

The Sky full of mercy,
By flooding the Earth
In a water of youth,
Humbly offered.

And the young married,
Opening his hips,
Between her thighs, hard,
Has released the child.

Filling out of confidence
The whole of humanity
A new hope.
Mysterious light ?

Of the Azure of the Ether
To the loving arms polar
Is rooted in the Earth
The Beauty that liberates.

Hello Erasmus. Thank you for your comment... or... your poem always very particular, modern, and contemporary that I enjoy. I hope that you're thinking of publishing ? !... You would like me to know... Ok ? Very well 10/10, Marc.

A part of the sky that bothers me a bit, the whole image is rather pleasant and well net...

Yes, Heuze, the famous sky... It should tell you that high mountain, there is no pollution and the sky is an intense blue-deep... We took the habit on earth to have heaven pâlichon, whitish and not net... There the sky is blue 'steel' and between-holed narrow it is even more blue and the contrast all the stronger with the snow and his glare... (If you leaflets in the tourist magazines, and photographs made by pros, you will often see the skies as well...) have a Good Sunday, Marc.

It must be a marvel of freshness actually been and St Benedict knows how much he can get hot walking in the mountains in the summer !!! I will go and take the debacle of the Loire in Amboise (I have never seen this before in my life) and I hope to have at least one good photograph to put on the site. See you soon on FEI.

It is impressive as a cascade whose waters 'run', can be taken over by the ice . I have the impression of an avalanche of whipped cream Very nice catch, but as Ferdinand, the gap is too blue for the top appeals to me

Hello Isa. Yes, but at least 20° or more, the water freezes... , and below, it is always flowing... The sky is blue, pollution-free here in altitude, and between a perforated dark and even more between the gap of rocks dark, the whiteness blinding snow with a solar radiation is very high... It can give it's effect. Look at the tourist magazines, postcards of mountains or seas... The skies are still very blue and the photos are made with the good stuff and by the pros... After that, I would have set the standard by removing my contrast, my saturations that were not high anyway... Mark.

Beautiful photo by -25°, had to be well covered. The character at the bottom of the image is welcome as it helps give the scale of this waterfall. Your accuracy on this cascade in your comments perhaps will take me to go visit her this summer because I intend to go to Savoy to visit an aunt of my wife that we have not seen for too long. I am a bit intrigued by this dark blue area at the top of the image at the start of the cascade, that is what it is ?

Hello Ferdinand. I see that the waterfall you plot. There was always something. A true masterpiece of nature in this season... The spring, I don't know, been a real 'mist', according to the. Seen for the character and so the scale of the quantities... The blue dot up there, it is simply the sky down between the waterfall and the rocks... I tried taking the photo in RAW to lighten it but I have not arrived. It must be said that it was a deep blue between the walls and the whiteness of the ice had to accentuate the effect. My slr was set to aperture priority mode, a Creative Land with a saturation of +1, maybe I would have had to put on standard and without saturation... But the creative mode, I like that, however. It is true that if you go in Savoy, in the summer you won't be wrong to go there, a road goes next to but not in the winter... Friendly and thank you. Marc.

The extreme cold has frozen the cascade, giving it a beautiful shape. The bottom is even thinking about character that would be left as a surprise. Nice look : congratulations Marc and thank you. Would you have a wider shot because the rock walls are beautiful also !

Yes, I have a few wide shots of this waterfall, I will explain it as soon as I have time. The cold, the nature, amount, turns into a sculptor here. We will not complain of these wonders, free ; the nature is transformed suddenly into a museum, country and I like it. Thanks to the fan and have a good evening. Marc.

Yes Guylaine it always happens in the high mountain area we have peaks over 4000 metres, but this year it is exceptional these negative temperatures at low altitudes... You're right, she is very beautiful in HD, but there, to our computers, it is mandatory to resize the image, you know... Thank you and friendship. Marc.

I'd like to see this wonder in the grandeur of nature, but by -28°C I will content myself with the photo. -10 from us good enough for me.

Yes Ninik, but you see, strangely, I have been less cold at this temperature that came home to Bourgoin with the wind North-West, and at - 6°... The nature is strange and that of man even more. Have a good Sunday, Marc.

Forgiveness DAN not responding so soon to your comment. Yes, the area is stunning but it would have to live there a while to make a excellent story, a book illustrated... This is so beautiful and grand and full of history this place... Yes, you're right, there are so many things to take with them. Thank you, thank you and good end of the afternoon. Marc.

Gipsy, I have been less cold at this temperature that, in coming home to Bourgoin with -6° and with the wind... We had the sun and returning to the cottage, sweating, I had a brief sensation of cold, and with two or three chills, that's all. Friendship, Marc.
