Cathedral of Strasbourg 1

Author 'Jcmai' (Id 131332 ) : Sounds and lights at the Cathedral of Strasbourg this summer. The show was very beautiful. Accuracy compared to the framing and perspective. For those who know Strasbourg Cathedral is very beautiful and deep, but on a relatively narrow and surrounded by timbered houses. No relief in perspective, that too would cut the picture, more when we are facing the building and that one looks up, this is how we see it. To cut the arrow I'll post another picture, where it is visible, but the side view is cut through the houses. Leaving aside for the technical beauty of the show!

Romaric thank you for the com and placing your favorites. The building has not moved and the earth did not tremble! Just the fear with the crowd, someone grabs the tripod!

Sylvie thank you for your comment and your favorite setting, if you go to Strasbourg must enter the astronomical clock alone is worth the effort!

: 4: Hello Jean Claude. A wonder this cathedral. I went to Strasbourg once long ago was in 1985 for a basketball tournament. My son was a good basketball player and had won the match elsewhere. I have not had time to visit! Another memory of happy days! Thank you. : 18:: 19:

Mireille thank you for the comment and favorite setting. I read some past cathedrals were painted (at least within: Metz there are still vague traces).

Ondine thank you, the show lasted a moment, then resumed after a break, I saw him twice in all (I'd still remained but there was a very beautiful sound and light on a water, I did not want missed!).

This picture is beautiful, the cathedral of Strasbourg is very difficult to photograph because it fits between the houses, the illuminated part is very successful, bravo and thank you Jean-Claude.

Josy thank you for your passage on the camera tripod I had to aim high enough also to prevent the heads of the photo (in fact I had to take the stand, people were not paying attention, and it was almost the reverse!).

Thank you Nicole for the implementation and as a favorite. The spectacle offered by the city of Strasbourg followed by a sound and light on the water was really worth it, I do not regret the trip!
