Hello Dear Cath. It is as the sculptor designed it, in fact. Naturally to him; he felt it in his flesh the details and shapes... and in the spirit of the idea of allegory for such a beautiful story... Thank you and kiss to you. Marc.

'Inanimate objects have you then a soul that attaches to our soul and strength to love ? 'A. De Lamartine has so well said !

Hello Dear friend. Definitely... because if we would not have a heart of stone... you can always turn into a statue, by or for the strength of the love (which you allude to) to be among our loved ones always... Chactas is a fine example of meditating on the grave of his betrothed... who has preferred it, killing himself (in loyalty to his convictions) rather than to Chactas. A nice story to be interpreted by the sculptor and movie also I believe. Thank you, thank you, and : long LIVE the Poets ! Marc.
