Chair and nets in Bastia.

Author 'Pavotbleu' (Id 200743 ) : In the summer of 1974, the end of the day to Bastia...
I imagine, there was a moment, sitting on that red chair, a brave great-grandfather ravaudant the nets. It is not fishing, but likes to make himself useful. For the time being, he is gone to join his old friends at the café du port.

Bravo Pavotbleu for this shot nice and luminous effect. It must be said that with the Minolta 50mm F/1. 4 you couldn't have less light because the lens would be one of the best... on the other hand, I realize that the Minolta SRT 101 is a very good case that D. Hamilton has always used. I have one also and I would like to get another one because mine seems to have 2-3 'mould'. (The sight glass gives me this impression. We do not see any spots on the photos.) I don't know if you know of a box to sell and objectives, you state otherwise... Isn't it ? I love your photography in any case. Good Sunday and Amts, Marc.

Here is an image that pleases me a lot, it inspires me, it is possible to imagine so many things... it could be the cover of a novel, this would be great ! You really do have the eye of an artist.

And I sense here your fibre littéraire . Has the two of us... ?
Speak to the imagination, this may be one of approaches to photographic practice. I admit that I go there instead of to the instinct (especially at a time !) Thank You Grouse

I love this 'type' of image simple, made of nothing but talking. A rustic gate, a chair that has had its day and a net testifying to the hard work of the grand-father... Your picture is very pretty, well composed, bright. Have you used the hdr ? The made me think . Having said that, .

Glad that my picture you like it ! As I said in my presentation, this is an old scanned slide, (1974 !). Then, hdr, this was not news, and to my great shame, not even today : it is too technical... So much the better if you love the record, my slide was a bit discoloured, I had to rekindle the red.
Thank you for your com. Isabelle, and good evening.

a thumb to the series of your three looks of the day... all different, but well treated... I especially like this one, simple and beautiful, this is not a scene of a crime, it is a stage of life Trace of the life of human beings, graphics, and color are very well developed...

The 3 looks of the day, as you say, were different, and my topics of interest ! So much the better if you also imagine that, and if I could convey my feelings ...

A photo with the harmonious colors and soft.
One has the impression to return in the privacy of this Gentleman.
I like it a lot.

Faded colors of another era... Bastia has changed, perhaps, there may be more of grandfathers on the port ? So I keep preciously in memory, by trying to share. Thank You Labrume.

You can imagine that the old man has known a hard life of work in the vicinity of this door and of this chair that are no longer in first youth, but also in the sea. A lot of realism in this shot .

And yes, that is what I liked : the agreement between the dilapidated room and the age (supposed to !) the man who worked there (because it is often the Elders who ravaudent the nets)...
Thank you, thank you, Jofu .
