Checkered plantain Glanville Fritillary

Author 'Boucher Marc dit de Meilh' A voir (Id 118469 ) : A butterfly met this morning in the grass, not knowing where to go as the dew was heavy, but eventually comes to rest on a bramble stem rather frail. I was able to photograph, I post this photograph. This, I think he, a butterfly belonging to the family Nymphalidae. This butterfly has the following names: Glanville Fritillary or goddess checkered belts or plantain. Marc Boucher said Meillan.

Thank you for your visit, it is an encouragement of course. Bah, for clarity we leave like that. I do not want to 'force' image. And thank you very cordially, Marc. : 19:

4: It is funny tone butterfly seems to have a huge scale! You have shot at the right time with a slight blur over his wings, I think it was in motion. It has more beautiful blue eyes. You have taken advantage of his incongruous position to make a nice picture: 3:.

Hello Isa. 56. Thank you for your visit and the special care that you put this photograph to comment on this Glanville Fritillary butterfly. Yes, it was just warm sunlight, shaking their wings to dry the dew ... Furthermore, even present in the place of taking. Taking a snapshot timely indeed, just as he had landed. It took me a cunning not to frighten him. Those blue eyes are beautiful, they are not all blue eyes, I had already noticed some. Yes, it is 'fun' as you say, you end up loving them like little teddy ... lol. Regards and good photos of you, Marc. : 19:

The top for this one because in addition to the technique mastered, you have captured the insect in a position that enhances its beauty ... A great big applause, Hanmeil for this mega-series macro that you have successfully completed: 1 :: 2:: 3:.

Indeed Gipsy34 this butterfly is beautiful with those blue eyes and blond hair ... It is true that the brightness is at the top especially since there was also a great light that day. Light plays a lot on things painted or photographed by time and this of course. Regards. Marc
