Columbine Turvert has Branfere

Author 'Nicoledesplat' (Id 216611 ) : I had the chance to review for the second time this magnificent Columbine Turvert 'in the aviary of the Wildlife Park of Branféré (Britain).
The wings plated and the body make me think of beautiful rows of fish scales in the color emerald what a beauty this bird.

Hello, beautiful image.
The colombines turvert are from the south-east of the asian continent and northern Australasia. Their area of distribution part of Kashmir, along the Himalayas, covers the entire indian peninsula to Sri Lanka, and continues to the south of China to Hainan. It also extends into Burma, Thailand, Indochina, the malay peninsula and the major islands of the Probe.

It is really beautiful your dove ; I am in awe and so what if it lacks a bit of air in front of it. It is secondary because the bird is perfect with a nice background blur.
Congratulations for this beautiful image !

It looks like she dressed for the carnival . The color of the beak in opposition to those of the wing gives pep to the image. Only one small downside : it does not have enough space in front of it in my opinion.

You may be right Joel but it was already very difficult to fight your way among all this vegetation, in the full months of August through this aviary, very dense, and when I could take a picture of one or two species, I was already very happy-5: thank you for giving me your opinion and for your comment

This is what I thought when I saw it, it is a beautiful dove, a pity she does not live in France , I would have still liked to see it in flight with its green wings deployed, it needs to be something, thank you Labrume for your comment

It is slightly more buffered from other doves or pigeons, but what a beautiful bird, I would have liked to see it in flight the wings spread, it must be wonderful, another time maybe, thank you Cathy for your comment
