Comfrey 082C Sheet

Author 'Francine.' (Id 79307 ) : This is a great plant comfrey; Indians once used, its root in poultice primed to repair broken bones in humans, during accidents. And it worked because it gave the name of comfrey (welding)! This plant is very invasive! A tiny piece of root in the soil, give a lot of these shrubs, which bloom in the form of purple bells, whose seeds mature they also contribute to the spread: 4:

The flash changes the colors, damage ... Otherwise its green is intense, the more we do not distinguish the small hairs on the leaves. Thank you for the information.

A very pretty and if it is as well as you said, it must be great! But she must settle (in a large pot of flower) a bit like mint, and where can we find?

Very happy to have information on this plant that I am indeed in my favorites. I was invited to a meal of flowers (a real pleasure for eyes and palate) and among others we have eaten the leaves of comfrey fritters in without knowing what the plant. Anyway, I did not put in my garden because you say it is very invasive.
