This sign appears in the bottom (pedestal) of the obelisk of the Concorde (original : Luxor) and explaining the transport and erection of the obelisk, in fact there are 2 prints, on the other side of the obelisk transport on a barge and this one : the erection itself.

Absolutely ! The diagram representing the obelisk off its base at Luxor, and embarked for France is on the other side of the pedestal, facing North-it was in the shade, I refrained. Thank you Artonge, Charly, Jean-Claude, Roland have brought your stone to the edifice

Saw your title and inscription not very legible in English, I think that there is some truth in proposals for the Artonge and Charly. The plan of the implementation of the obelisk of the Concorde, made in a style that is 'old' !
